Artist-made and ever evolving, shaped by a process of experimentation
Founded in 2020, Bessie Bee Creative is based in Sonoma County, California. What began as a fluid abstract art practice has evolved into an ever-growing body of jewelry, artwork and functional pieces. The introduction of a laser cutter opened up new possibilities, allowing different processes to intersect and leading to a wider range of designs and products. Every item is made in-house from raw materials with care, curiosity and close attention to detail. Problem-solving and experimentation play an ongoing role in the development of new work.
Jewelry
Bessie Bee Creative produces a growing range of jewelry designs, with an extensive collection of earrings currently available. Collections explore playful color, texture and form through materials such as acrylic, abalone shell, hardwoods and hand painted MDF.
Many pieces are inspired by seasonality and the natural world, with available collections and new designs shifting throughout the year.
Most items are available with customizable metal options—including solid stainless steel, gold plated or silver plated ear wires and all hardware is hypoallergenic.
Acrylic Jewelry
Bold, playful designs that are lightweight and expressive. This extensive, ever-growing collection includes many designs offered in multiple sizes and colors, allowing for personal expression and choice. Most pieces are inspired by the seasons, with new designs introduced throughout the year.

Eye-catching and colorful, these acrylic hoops feature a simple, clean design. Lightweight and comfortable, each pair is made with hypoallergenic stainless steel posts that are securely affixed.

Genuine Shell Jewelry
High-quality, natural materials, sustainably sourced.
This collection features sustainably sourced New Zealand abalone and mother-of-pearl shell veneer, backed with hardwood. The shell comes in a variety of vibrant, shimmering colors that catch the light beautifully. A thin layer of resin enhances the natural iridescence and protects the delicate surface, giving each piece a smooth, glass-like finish. Because no two pieces of shell are alike, each design has its own character and uniqueness. Simple shapes allow the beauty of nature to be front and center.
Hand Painted Jewelry
Each piece is truly one of a kind.
Designs in this collection combine acrylic paint, mica powder, varnish and stain, along with a few proprietary ingredients, to create unique patterns and vibrant color effects. Each piece is finished with a coat of resin to protect the surface and enhance the depth of color and shimmer of the mica powder. No two pieces are ever the same, making each one truly special.
Hand Painted Coasters
These coasters are where Bessie Bee Creative got its start. Each piece is crafted using a fluid art painting technique that makes it impossible to create two completely alike. Truly one of a kind, they are a labor of love.
Featuring a ceramic tile base, shimmering mica powder and a beautiful depth of color, each coaster is finished with a coat of epoxy resin designed for countertops, making them functional, durable and eye-catching. They bring a touch of art to everyday life.
Original Artworks
Original artworks are created using the same fluid art technique as the hand-painted coasters. Painted on birch wood panels, each piece is unique, showcasing vibrant color and depth. Finished with a minimum of two coats of varnish, the artwork is durable and ready to display, bringing a playful and colorful touch to any space.
Inspired by nature, each collection explores a different theme, such as the ocean, earth, the cosmos, or seasonal shifts.
